Colorado Snow Report AM Update

Its December 7th, 2016 here is our am Colorado Snow Report! The snow has been flying all over our state the last 2 days. Looks like Northern CO did better with this wave of snow.

We are about to head out to Breckenridge Ski Resort now which picked up 6" fresh over the last 24hrs and 4" overnight. Also at Breck over the last 48hrs 11' has fallen and the Dew Tour starts this Friday at the resort get it! Its cold in town right now feels like -8 so bundle up when you hit the mountain.

Here are other areas that got dumped on today!

Over the last 24hrs big snow totals.....

Steamboat 10" fresh with a 29" Base 

Aspen / Snowmass 8" fresh with a 19" Base

Most of the other CO resorts saw snow this am out there too!!

Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report 11-23

Here is your Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report for 11-23-16!

Its about to be Thanksgiving and the crowds are rolling into Breckenridge. We got up early and caught some laps off Peak 8, it was so sunny! The sky was blue and it looked more like winter since 1" fresh fell in the last 24hrs. 0" fell overnight but the 18" base of snow was sliding nice this am. As the lift lines got longer we decided to call it a day :) 

Breck has received 3" fresh in the last 48hrs and 8" in the last 7 days. Here is a photo we took on the mountain today. Still waiting on more snow to roll in to get this season started. We are heading to Utah tomorrow, so be on the lookout for us on the snow at Park City this next week #C2SFAM.

Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report 11-22

Here is your Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report for 11-22-16!!

We got up and checked the snow reports to see where the snow was falling in CO. The winner looked to be Purgatory Resort with 10" fresh in the last 24hrs and 17" fresh total in the last 48hrs. Southwestern CO got dumped on with other resorts picking up good snow in that area. 

Breckenridge picked up 2" fresh in the last 24hrs, so we waited and hit some pm laps. The town and mountain were crowded with everybody coming ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday. 

Breck had a 18" base and the snow surface was quite soft. Still only Peak 8 was open, but we saw them blowing alot of snow on Peak 9 trying to get that part of the resort open. It was snowing on and off around 3pm when we got up there. Tomorrow should be good at Breckenridge early but it will be packed since only Peak 8 is open for now.

Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report 11-21

Caught 1st chair vibes at Breckenridge Ski Area this am 11/21/16!! Today a high of 41 degrees and we were riding a 18" base.  

We need some snow, all we got is man made snow for now. Limited runs are open and Colorado Superchair is the main lift spinning at Breckenridge!

A storm is suppose to roll into town later tonight so do a snow dance!

Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report 11-20

Here is our Breckenridge Ski Area Snow Report for 11-20-16.

We took some late day Breck laps at today!!

It was a warm day on the mountain and we hit the 18" base. The snow quality was still solid though, since Breck is at such high elevation. Our next storm is set to roll in later this week.

Breckenridge Ski Area Opening Day 2016 Report

We were at Breckenridge Ski Area for opening day 11-19-16!! It was my bday present that Breckenridge opened on the 19th ;)

We hit late laps at Breck and they had Peak 8 open. The main lift that was spinning was the Colorado Superchair. Was another day of shredding the man made 18" base of snow and it was warm out there. The snow quality was still good sliding the man made chowder. 

Another year at Breck letzzzzzz go. We will be dropping on the snow media coverage from Breck all season! This was a quick Instagram video we put together from Breckenridge Ski Area Opening Day 2016!!

Arapahoe Basin Snow Report 11-17

Here is our PM Snow Report update, we took laps at Arapahoe Basin today 11-17-16! We saw one of the first big snow storms come though Colorado earlier. It was great to see the snow fly. We got to A-Basin in the afternoon and the snow was coming down hard. Looked like they had around 5 inches fresh out there. The snow surface was soft riding and hopefully this is the storm that kicks off winter!!

The bottom of the mountain is still only open but that should change soon. Keystone Resort opens tomorrow 11-18 and Breckenridge Ski Area opens on 11-19, get out there #C2SFAM. We put this edit together that will drop tomorrow of our travels around Breckenridge and at A-Basin today.

Breckenridge AM Snow Update 11-17

Here is a quick update #C2SFAM. A storm is rolling into Colorado! We were out this am taking photos and video. The early am was very sunny but then the storm clouds starting coming in. Check these photos we took of Breckenridge Ski Area getting ready for there opening day on Nov. 19. 

There is snow currently dumping all over CO and in Breck. More photos of the snow coming later tonight :)
